He was portrayed by Go Jun.

Biography[]

Prior to the events of the film, Yang-choon and his men had kidnapped many teenage girls who ran away from home and drugged them in order to mass-produce egg cells so they could sell them to the hospital and paid much more money. They later continued doing this for a long time.

After Lee Yoon-jung was sold out to the gang of human traffickers by Gun-young, he and his men Gun-ho were seen pinning her down violently before drugging her to mass-produce her egg cells. While having a feast with his men, he was informed that Gun-ho has been taken hostage. Later, both protagonists Park Ki-joon and Kang Hee-yol found their hideouts and not only they found Yoon-jung inside, but also the other women they kidnapped in their other rooms. They tried to rescue them, but instead were beaten up by their leader Yang-choon and the other gang members violently. Yang-choon also mocked Ki-joon for playing cop just because he's still a student at the Korean National Police University.

Later, they were tied somewhere in a room where they planned to have their organs extracted. After releasing themselves, they realize they don't have wallets or phones, so Ki-joon and He-yool snuck into another room where the rest of the gang members are sleeping to get their stuff back. Unfortunately, Ki-joon's alarm watch began to beep, waking up all of them which led to a chase. Yang-choon then rides the van to go along with them to capture both students as well. As they get to the police station, Yang-choon and his men retreats to avoid getting arrested and hide the girls somewhere else where they never found them.

The next morning, Yang-choon and his men moved the girls to another hideout where no one could locate them. Seeing one of the girls has failed organs to mass-produce the eggs, Yang-choon order to get her organs (implied to have her killed). Yoon-jung begged him to save her, but only for Yang-choon to kick her violently to keep her quiet.

They bring the girls to the H Fertility Clinic where the girls had their eggs extracted and were paid ₩20,000. After Ki-joon and Hee-yol barged into the hospital and beats up most of his men, Yang-choon waited at the elevator door so he could beat them up when they got there. As both students arrived, he brutally beats them up in an old fashion way. Despite they have a hard time confronting him, Ki-joon and Hee-yol later devised a plan to capture him and managed to pin him down and cuffed him, ending his days of human trafficking once and for all. After Ki-joon tells him he deserved everything he has done, he and Hee-yol managed to save the girls from the egg cell surgery.

However, his actions gave the protagonists an impact, as they have to be held back for a year and received 500 hours of detention instead of getting expelled for their reckless and impulsive decisions. But luckily, Yoon-jung went to the Police University where she was grateful to them for saving her and the other girls and is given a tour. It is unknown what happened to Yang-choon and his men, but it is likely they were sentenced to life in prison or he is likely getting executed for his crimes.
