Yannick is the main antagonist of the 2023 movie Yannick, He is a night watchman who takes over a room in which a play is taking place because he doesn't like it and wants to change it.
He was portrayed by Raphael Quenard.
Biography[]
Yannick is basically a night watchman living in Melun who loss his two parents who took a day off to go see a play called Le Cocu performed by Sophie Denis, Paul Rivière and William Keller.
During the show he gets up to interrupt it because he doesn't like it and tells the actors that it won't make him forget his daily problems and asks them to play something else, the actors tell him that it won't is not possible and the spectators tell him to leave if he doesn't like it except that Yannick persists and Paul Rivière aggressively kicks him out.
Except that an annoyed Yannick returns to the room to take her hostage armed with a revolver, he says that he is going to completely change her so he asks someone to lend him his computer, a spectator lends him his computer with a weird password and a background pornographic screen and begins to type his text on word very slowly while smoking a cigarette, he also speaks aggressively when Paul Rivière and the others asks him if he needs his help claiming that he understands and that he does not need help.
Shortly after, the lady at the ticket office arrives in the room and Yannick threatens to kill someone if she does not bring a printer to print her play and calls the police. She frightenedly brings the printer and Yannick prints her text while making jokes at her which don't make her laugh, seeing that she isn't laughing he tells her to leave.
He then asks the actors to learn their new lines and decides to sympathize with the spectators, he speaks to a couple and makes fun of the fact that he is not a great sex life then asks the husband to touch his wife, Yannick jokes and says it was a joke, he then goes to see a mother and her son sleeping and wakes him up to ask him if he likes the room and why he is sleeping, the mother tells him that he is taking sedatives and this is one of the reasons, he then goes to see two women friends and asks them if he can sleep at her place, they say that their accommodation is small and argue which annoys Yannick who tells them to leave it alone, he then goes to see a man and asks him if they can both eat something afterwards, meanwhile Sophie Denis asks Paul Rivière to make sure that he takes Yannick's gun.
Shortly after Paul Rivière asks for a moment with Yannick to divert his attention and manages to take his pistol, he threatens Yannick and asks him to imitate the dog and lick the ground Yannick does not take him seriously, telling him that he does not doesn't know how to use a gun, Paul Rivière explodes and admits that he doesn't like acting in plays because they are boring and that he would prefer to act in the cinema, Yannick gets up and asks the audience to applaud him because he released all his emotions and the public applauds him, Paul Rivière thanks them.
The actors put themselves on stage and play Yannick's play, the spectators laugh and Yannick is moved to tears, very happy that it worked, however the police enter at this moment because one of the spectators had discreetly gone out to call them.
We don't know what happened to Yannick after that, he probably ended up in prison.

Yannick is a tall man, he wearing two wool seaters and a large leather jacket, a black jean and black & yellow shoes.
Personality[]
Yannick is rather calm but when the actors speak to him aggressively he becomes aggressive himself and decides to threaten everyone with killing them, he is undoubtedly capable of it and has an insolent attitude and always wants to have the last word.
