The Yari Gamma is an antagonist in Kamen Rider Ghost.
He is voiced by the late Kosuke Takaguchi.
Biography[]
The Yari Gamma was one of two Gamma brought to Earth by Chikara Saionji. Saionji provided both with objects to possess and while his companion possessed a katana to become the Katana Gamma, the other Gamma possessed a spear to become the Yari Gamma. The two then began their search for Eyecons. They targeted Takeru Tenkuji after he received a package on his 18th birthday sent by his late father that contained the Ghost Eyecon. The Gamma demanded he give them the Eyecon, but Takeru refused to give up his father's gift, leading him to be killed by the Katana Gamma's blade.
However, Takeru was brought back soon after by Sennin, albeit with 99 days to fully revive himself. Takeru used the Ghost Eyecon in conjunction with the Ghost Driver to become Kamen Rider Ghost and battle the Gamma. The Yari Gamma was then destroyed by Ghost with his Omega Driver finisher. Its destruction prompted the Katana Gamma to attempt to flee the scene.
