Yasuyuki Ootsuka is a minor antagonist in the Shiki franchise.
He was described as a kind and hard-working man. He really enjoyed flirting with younger women, which ultimately got him killed and turned into a Shiki when he encountered Chizuru Kirishiki.
He was voiced by Daisuke Endou in the Japanese version, and by Scott Freeman in the English dubbed version.
Biography[]
After rising from the dead, he was one of the more useful Shiki, as he was in charge of the undead's huts. He layed out the dead bodies that Hayami sent from his funeral parlor in rows in the huts. If they rose, he sent them to the hideout in the mountains, and if they didn't he buried them. He was assisted by Takatoshi.
Death[]
When the hunt for the Shiki broke out, he hid in the mountains. Him and a couple of other Shiki hid under the floor of the houses, and were eventually As the villagers open up his hiding spot, his eye explodes as the sunlight touches his body. He is then staked and slain by a big wooden hammer.
