In "Yeti Krabs", Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob and Squidward a story about a creature known as the Yeti Krab that eats lazy employees. Mr. Krabs is only telling this story to get Squidward to work, however, the story actually becomes true when an actual Yeti Krab comes to Bikini Bottom o look for something that he can eat. The Yeti Krab goes into the Krusty Krab after catching its scent. SpongeBob realizes that the monster is an actual Yeti Krab and works hard to avoid getting eaten, but Squidward mistakenly believes that the monster is just Mr. Krabs is a Yeti Krab costume to try and scare them.
Squidward attacks the Yeti Krabby trying to rip its face off because he thinks it's just a mask. Mr. Krabs walks into the restaurant. Squidward eventually realizes that they Yeti Krab was real the entire time and panics before he ultimately gets captured by the beast along with Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob.
The Yeti Krab ties all three of them to the Krusty Krab's grill in order to cook them and eat them as food. SpongeBob realizes that the Yeti Krab is just hungry and brings out his Emergency Krabby Patties. The Yeti Krab eats the patties and pays Mr. Krabs for the food. The Yeti Krab then lets SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs go and goes back to the mountain that he came from.
In SpongeBob Freestyle Funnies 2018, The Yeti Krab appears on the cover alongside a bunch of other villains.
In "Shopping List", SpongeBob and Sandy go to the mountain where the Yeti Krab lives because his hair is one of the ingredients in the fake ingredients list Mr. Krabs gave them. The duo pick off a hair from the Yeti Krab's back while he's still sleeping. Plankton, who has been following SpongeBob and Sandy the entire time, uses a lawnmower to cut off the Yeti Krab's hair, however, this causes the Yeti Krab to wake up and flatten him, and then use him as a hat to cover up his bald spot.
The Yeti Krab makes another appearance later in the episode where he tries to attack SpongeBob and Sandy, however, he instead decides to take them back to the Krusty Krab after Sandy gives the hair from her tail to him.
