The Yeti Soldiers are a group of minor antagonists in Laika's sixth stop-motion picture: Missing Link. They are a group of warriors that serve the The Yeti Elder in protecting their sacred sanctuary.
They all appear to be standard Yetis with an ancient kind of armor. Their appearance ranges from wearing a little armor to being completely covered, except for that of their legs and face. All are seen holding spears.
While we never hear any of the Yeti's speak, it is implied that they are very loyal to their Elder. It is assumed that they share the Elder's beliefs and so they make it their job to fulfill them. Like the Elder, they are seemingly very protective of their secret paradise, and are not very welcoming to their visitors.
They have a somewhat ape-like demeanor, as seen when they were picking bugs out of their Elder's fur and then eating them.
After Link and the others arrive near the Yeti's sanctuary, they are met with a soldier, who leads them to their leader. After being introduced to their leader, they are given an introduction to the environment, and then later brought by the soldiers to a hole in the ground because the Yeti's don't want their paradise to be spoiled.
After the gang escapes, the Elder (who was having bugs picked out of her by the soldiers) ordered them to go after the three. They chased them to the ice bridge, but were unable to catch them.
- The warriors are the only group of Yeti's that are shown in the sanctuary, but it is implied that there are more.
- Outside of the Yeti's temple, there are two giant statues in the shape of the Yeti soldiers holding their spears.
