Yhoundeh, also known as The Elk-Goddess, is an Outer Godess in the expanded Cthulhu-mythos.
Yhoundeh is the spawn of the androgyne animal Archetype Zyhumé and the spouse of Nyarlathotep.
The deity was worshipped by the Hyperborean civilization in their waning days. Her priests bammed the worship of Tsathoggua, the previous deity worhipped by the Hyperboreans, and started to punish any heretics. Over time the priests fell, and the Hyperboreans returned to worship the Toad God.
- Yhoundeh was not a creation by Lovecraft, but an outiside addition by Clark Ashton Smith, in his story known as the "The Door to Saturn", which was part of the Hyperborean cycle.
