Yodoshi is the main antagonist in "A Friend in Need", a two part of the season six finale of Xena: Warrior Princess. He is a former Japanese warlord turned the demon and the father of Akemi.
He was portrayed by Adrian Brown.

Yodoshi is the originally warlord who murder of his family and his daughter Akemi was kidnapped with furtive by a Chinese warlord, taking into a Chinese fortress to meeting a famous warrior princess named Xena. Upon Xena redemption at the point to back to her home, Akemi pretending as performer in which she kill his father to avenge on her deceased family. The underworld was still conceived of negative sensibility, decline to making Yodoshi to invaded the underworld.
His spirit is returned as an immortal Yokai-Daimyo, only time to seizing the souls of the 40,000 killed in the fire a drunk, and poorly Xena is accidentally to setting on Higuchi because of she repel attackers, who are eventually leading her to overflow Akemi's ashes which is allowing Yodoshi to catching his daughter's soul. After 30 years, Xena and Gabrielle are returning to Jappa intention of fixed what have she done. Before her death, Xena encountering Harukata, the ghost-killer.
To chosen sacrificed herself to against Yodoshi, Xena asked a samurai Morimoto and his army to kill her thereupon she able to defeating the bad demon. Following her demise, Xena becoming a ghost while she arriving in the teahouse to meeting Akemi. Th pair were reunited, Yodoshi appeared which he constantly to torment of Xena as the other women are bowing. Much to horror, Xena is become a victim who would be trusted of her frustrated.

After being violently to beating Xena, Yodoshi must pulled her up and forced her to bows. Xena tells Yodoshi that she was in his service. However, due to his wicked, Yodoshi is be devilish to laughs and leaving. Keep to making his powers strongest, Yodoshi is time to duel with Xena during the final battle. He later executed by her and ended his terror for good. It was all the souls are already freeing in which whirl around Xena.
