Yogostein is... this man's son, noune. This guy is Gaiark's Crime Minister. And I am... Dangerous Cabinet Minister Chirakasonne! With Minister Yogoshimacritein, we wrecked Sound, Magic and Prism Worlds, noune! That is a mix-up in the truth, noune! It is true that Kirezky did follow the Crime Minister's and my orders, noune.
~ Chirakasonne introducing Yogoshimacritein.

Crime Minister Yogoshimacritein is a high-ranking member of the Banki Clan Gaiark, the father of Yogostein, and the main antagonist of Engine Sentai Go-Onger. He serves as the overarching antagonist of the first three quarters and the main antagonist of the final arc.

He is the crime minister and temporary leader of Banki Clan Gaiark and assumed the role of the supreme leader of the Gaiark, after his son Yogostein's death and arrived on Earth, taking control of the Gaiark's Human World invasion force.

He is the Go-Ongers's archenemy and the most powerful and dangerous enemy the Go-Ongers team ever faced. He is also boss and master of Chirakasonne and Kireizky and forker master and boss of Kitaneidas and Kegalesia. Yogoshimacritein is also abusive father of Yogostein and the former underling of Pollution President Batcheed, whom he usurped and replaced as the supreme leader of the Gaiark. Yogoshimacritein appeared only in the finale episodes of the Go-Onger and he became the final villain the Go-Ongers faved in the season. He is the final threat of that series.

He was voiced by the late Kiyoyuki Yanada who also previously voiced his Yogoshimacritein's son Yogostein and Tau Zant.

Biography[]

Past[]

It's almost nothing known about Yogoshimacritein's past. It's unknown when or how he was created, but it's known that many years before the events of the series, Yogoshimacritein was the second-in-command of Banki Clan Gaiark and he was the underling of Pollution President Batcheed, serving as his second-in-command and personal enforcer. He was also the father of Yogostein and it's implied during the series that Yogoshimacritein was abusive towards his son and they had a horrible relationship. However, at some point, he betrayed his former master and decided to take over the Gaiark for himself. Yogoshimacritein disappeared and ordered his right-hand underling Cleaning Minister Kireizky to destroy the Prisma World, Magic World, and Sound World. Kireizky successfully did it, but Yogoshimacritein remained in shadow, waiting for the time when he would return and attack the Human World himself.

Engine Sentai Go-Onger[]

After the Gaiark on Human World suffers multiple defeats, Yogoshimacritein sends Cleaning Minister Kireizky to help conquer the Human World but Kireizky was later killed by the Go-Ongers. Later, after the death of Dumbbell Banki, Yogoshimacritein uses Kireizky's Infinite Wastebin to enter Human World together with his right-hand man Chirakasonne, whereupon he assumed command over the Gaiark and became the master of Kitaneidas and Kegalesia. Yogoshimacritein attacked Tokyo and encountered the Go-Ongers. The Crime Minister fought the Go-Ongers, but Yogoshimacritein was then tired and ordered Chirakasonne to leave and destroy the Go-Ongers However, after Chirakasonne was defeated, Yogoshimacritein returned and used his secret weapon, the Justice Dissolution. By using his signature attack Justice Dissolution, which could vaporize its victims and send them to the subspace reality on Earth, Yogoshimacriten takes out Hant Jou and Gunpei Ishihara, along with their Engine partners, Birca, Toripter, Jetras, and Carrigator, horrifying other Go-Ongers.

Later Yogoshimacritein again fought the Go-Ongers and this time he used Justice Dissolution on Hiroto and Miu, the Go-On Wings. Despite Go-On Wings being vaporized, Bomper managed to scan the Justice Dissolution and find the way to return the Go-Ongers.

Later, Yogoshimacritein tried to use his armies of drones to pollute the Earth and when three remaining Go-Ongers tried to interfere, Yogoshimacritein, Kitaneidas, and Kegalesia fought them. When Go-Ongers started gaining the upper hand, Yogoshimacritein used his fellow ministers as living shields to save his skin. Then the villains left.

When Go-Ongers found the Hellgaille Palace, the heroes encountered Yogoshimacritein Kitaneidas and Kegalesia and the villain decided to use Justice Dissolution at the three Go-Ongers, but Kitaneidas and Kegalesia had already realized what horrible tyrant he was and destroyed his Infinite Wastebin, preventing him from using his primary attack. However, Ygoshimacritein was furious and mortally wounded his former ministers.

After losing the Infinite Wastebin to Kegalesia and Kitaneidas to keep him from using Justice Dissolution, Yogoshimacriten makes his way to the Deus Haguruma Magear to power himself up until the primary Go-Ongers trap him in the Bikkurium chamber and destroy the Deus Haguruma Magear to get their friends back, causing the Gaiark's Hellgaille Palace to collapse. However, Yogoshimacritein survives and attempts to destroy the city until he is halted by Hanto, Gunpei, and the Go-on Wings. Once the primary Go-Ongers join the fray, Yogoshimacritein enlarges himself in a process called Third Industrial Revolution, fighting Engine-O G12 before being destroyed by his opponent's G12 Final Grand Prix attack.

Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle[]

Years later, Yogoshimacritein is revived as a member of the Black Cross Army and fights against Gokai Yellow, Gokai Blue, Gosei Black and Gosei Yellow before being defeated by their combined powers. He later gets resurrected again in the final battle by the Black Cross King along with Chirakasonne and Kireizky. He is destroyed by Engine-O, Dairen'Oh, and RV Robo.

Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen[]

Yogoshimacritein is later revived as a member of Dai-Zangyack. When Dai-Shocker and Dai-Zangyack reveal their Shocker-Zangyack Alliance and fight against the combined Super Sentai and Kamen Riders, he, alongside Bat Fangire, leads an army of Gaiark and Fangire against them. He is destroyed by a combined finisher attack from the Go-ongers and Kiva.

Personality[]

There's no need for a dictator in Gaiark!
~ Kitaneidas

Yogoshimacritein was a relentless psychopath who was the opposite of his son. Though both were more serious than Kitaneidas and Kegalesia, his serious nature was played completely straight with no kind of comedy in him. As for his son, he was implied to be an abusive parent to him as he only came to avenge Yogostein's failure and didn't see him as anything else than a useless failure. Another thing Yogoshimacritein didn't have from Yogostein was his compassion and he seemed to treat the other Pollution Ministers worst of all as he often used them as living shields to save his own skin or just for fun. He ultimately cared only for himself and sought to rule all Braneworlds with an iron fist.

Unlike Yogostein, who mostly treats his subordinates and comrades rather well and mourned them, Yogoshimacritein thinks nothing of his own subordinates other than as pawns, having several times used the other two Pollution Ministers as living shields to save his own hide. He shows loyalty to no one but the Pollution Presidents.

He is also sadistic and abusive, and enjoys taunting Go-Ongers and even his own men. He is also cunning and manipulative and can create unpredictable plans to trick his enemies. He is immensely sadistic and enjoys taunting and torturing Go-Ongers. His sadism is shown when he sadistically laughs at Go-Ongers' defeats.

Yogoshimacritein is considered the cruelest and most evil of the Gaiark in the series, matched only by the Pollution Presidents, who appeared only after the end of the series. However, as a Black Cross member, he is more comical, making a movie out of defeating both the Goseigers and Gokaigers and is distracted by both their Sentai Yellows asking for his autograph.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Power: Due to his role as the Gaiark Crime Minister and the (temporary) leader of the Gaiark, Yogoshimacritein was the most powerful and dangerous enemy the Go-Ongers ever faced, surpassing in power the three Pollution Ministers, as well all of his minions, such as Kireizky and Chirakasonne and all other soldiers and Banki monsters of the Gaiark. He is immensely powerful and is capable of taking both Go-Ongers teams. It's implied that only the Pollution Presidents surpassed him in strength.

  • Superhuman Durability: Yogoshimacritein was highly durable and was able to survive many hits from Go-Ongers.

    • Fireballs: Yogoshimacritein could fire enormous orange fireballs from his baton but they had no effect on the Go-Ongers.
    • Teleportation Beam: Yogoshimacritein of the Black Cross was able to combine his baton with Hades Dragon's trident and Brajira of the Messiah's sword to unleash a devastating teleportation wave.

Quotes[]

To kowtow to the Ugatz... Now pathetic, narina.
~ Crime Minister Yogoshimacritein's first words as Kitaneidas accepted that they were being blackmailed over Dumbbell Banki.
Narina.
~ Yogoshimacritein's verbal tick.
So you guys are the ones who killed my son, narina? It's nice that you're so lively, narina.
~ Yogoshimacritein when meeting the Go-Ongers for the first time.
It can't be! How can I lose? This should not have happened narina. I am the supreme ruler of the 11 dimensions! Gaiark's Crime Minister! I'm sorry!
~ Crime Minister Yogoshimacritein's last words.

Trivia[]

  • Yogoshimacritein is one of the most evil villains in Super Sentai franchise alongside Juzo Fuwa, Brajira of the Messiah, Robogog of the 10-sai, Radiguet, Ginis and Bio Hunter Silva (among others), and the only 100% serious antagonist in Engine Sentai Go-Onger.
  • In both Go-Onger's finale and Gokaiger Goseiger 199, Yogoshimacritein's last words are "I'm sorry", which is a pun on the word souri, the Japanese word for "prime minister".
