Yomi is a major antagonist in the dark fantasy and action manga series Gokurakugai. He is the possible enigmatic leader of his own group and a friend of Yoru.
Appearance[]
Yomi is a young man of sophisticated appearance with messy light gray hair hair and blood-red eyes. His attire consists of a dark, high-collared shirt with intricate fastenings, paired with a light-colored cape draped over his shoulders.
Personality[]
Yomi remains calm and carefree, harboring a great friendship with Yoru. His speech is measured and steady. Even during a critical event where Yoru violently confronted two drunken women—leading to one death and the other becoming a Maga. This ability to stay calm is also apparent in his dealings with Alma and his assured introduction to the other Maga killers Tao Saotome and Nei Takarai.
Background[]
According, Yomi stated to Yoru that he has a long-standing connection with Alma, the Maga-hybrid, having monitored him from birth. He mentioned a previous rejection related to Alma and shared his ongoing plans involving Alma. When first encountering Alma, Yomi seemed intimately acquainted with him, despite Alma having no recollection of Yomi. Interestingly, Yomi can eliminate the Karmic Stake, a constraint linked to Tao's "Kai" chant, that was holding Alma back.
