Yoneda is a supporting antagonist in the video game Yakuza 0. He is a cruel and condescending man who is a member of the Tojo Clan's Dojima Family, and often appears alongside Daisaku Kuze.
Biography[]
Yoneda appears when Kazuma Kiryu goes to the Dojima Family HQ to ask its patriarch Sohei Dojima to expel him from the family to protect his foster father Shintaro Kazama after Kiryu is framed for murder. When Kuze asks Yoneda how to get rid of Kiryu, he suggests brutal forms of murder, such as burying him alive or melting his body with chemicals. During Kiryu's fight with the Dojima Family, Yoneda gets back up several times despite seeming to be defeated, ending with him fighting Kiryu with a knife, acting as a mini-boss of sorts before the player fight Kuze.
Yoneda appears again after Tetsu Tachibana, the president of Tachibana Real Estate, is kidnapped by Daisaku Kuze and his men, the Kenno Clan, as they torture him until he reveals the whereabouts of Makoto Makimura, the owner of the Empty Lot, something that Yoneda takes great pleasure in. Kuze realises that Tachibana won't break by torture, and thus frees him, causing Tachibana to smugly grin at Yoneda, which in turns enfuriates him and causes him to mortally injure Tachibana with his hammer. In return, Kuze grabs Yoneda by the face and slams him into the floor, ending Yoneda's life.
