The Yoroi Army are one of the Four Armies of the Neros Empire and major antagonists in Choujinki Metalder. They are comprised of cyborgs and humans equipped with dense armor, making them tough physical opponents. They are led by Victorious Saint Coolgin.
History[]
Joined by fighters from other armies, a Yoroi Army force led by Chuubo spearheaded an attempt to assassinate Dr. Koga after he uncovered the Neros Empire's existence. They were successful in killing the daughter, but were unable to stop him from awakening his secret creation, Metalder.
When Gochak of the Battle Robot Army proved unsuccessful in destroying Metalder, the Yoroi Army put forth their warrior Ben K to deal with Metalder. However, like Gochak, Ben K was defeated by the Super Android and later deserted the Army.
After Metalder and Top Gunder discovered Gozo Kirihara was God Neros, the remaining Yoroi Army members were sent out to guard the interior of the Kirihara Konzern in preparation for their attack. The two heroic androids defeated the Yoroi Army warriors and were able to make it to the Ghost Bank.
After Chuubo was slain inside the Ghost Bank and Coolgin perished in its destruction, the Yoroi Army was brought to an end. The spirits of the Yoroi Army were later summoned by God Neros to attack Metalder in their final battle.
