Yotsuyu Yagiyama is a supporting antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion. He is a Rock Human and an architect who worked on the Higashikata Family's mansion and the baseball stadium where Aisho Dainenjiyama works. He is a member of the Locacaca Organization and works under Tamaki Damo, as well as a Stand User who wields the Stand I Am A Rock.

He is voiced by Matsukaze Masaya.

Personality[]

Yagiyama is an ambitious and ruthless Rock Human, desiring social prestige and recognition above all. He states that he intends on stealing Norisuke Higashikata IV's fortune and demonstrates manipulative prowess when successfully coercing Tsurugi Higashikata into assisting him by exploiting his fear of the Higashikata Family disease that has plagued them for generations.

Yotsuyu is the type of person who would attack innocent people in order to show them how serious he is about his threats. As a member of the Locacaca Organization, he has an interest in the Locacaca fruit and sought to kill Josuke Higashikata due to him being a loose end who knew about the fruit's secret.

Despite Rock Humans naturally being sociopathic, Yagiyama seemed to have a genuine friendship with Aisho Dainenjiyama, informing him about his girlfriend's betrayal and waking him up to save him from his house being demolished while he was inside.

Powers and Abilities[]

I Am A Rock is a close-range mechanical humanoid Stand that causes any specific object to converge towards anyone Yotsuyu touches, gaining more speed and strength as the objects approach. Once the objects come into contact with the victim, they will push into the flesh towards the center of the body.

Once the ability is activated, the victim can only attract one type of object, for instance, flower pots, chestnuts, or cans of pesticide. Breaking the objects will only result in more pieces digging into the victim's flesh. Yotsuyu can affect multiple people at the same time with the same type of object, or even affect himself with the ability. Yotsuyu can choose what type of object will be attracted towards the victim.

Yotsuyu uses this ability along with his rock physique by hiding in the landscape as a rock so he can touch someone stealthily.

Trivia[]

Yotsuyu's surname is a reference to the Yagiyama Mountains, a set of mountains in the Sendai region of Japan. This region also houses the home city of the author Hirohiko Araki, to which Sendai inspired the design and feel of Morioh in both universes.
