Yuckie Duck is the main protagonist villain character of the 1995 Yuckie Duck shorts "Short Orders" and "I'm On My way"; both of which were segments of the What A Cartoon! show. He is a duck that works at various jobs, but ends up messing things up.
Though not evil in any way, he's extremely problematic and destructive given his hyperactive and unorthodox methods. Though some of his misfortunes are simply bad luck.
He was voiced by Bill Kopp.
Yuckie is portrayed as being eccentric, goofy, well-meaning, helpful and kind. However, he is shown to be slightly dim-witted at times, as he doesn't carefully think out everything he does, causing mischief and destruction.
Yuckie appears as a purple duck with a bright purple bill. He has purple hair in Short Orders, though has blue hair in I'm On My Way. Despite being a duck, he has human feet and hands instead of webbed feet and wings respectively. His tail appears without feathers, looking very mildly hairy and bare.
Yuckie Duck first appears in the kitchen where he is making soup, mixing it as he takes a whole part of vegetables (along with a rat) in the pan. He rings to have his assistant help mix the soup, which was just a chicken dunking its rear end in the soup "for flavor". After finishing mixing the soup, Yuckie Duck drinks it only to vomit it out after tasting it, he then flushes the whole soup. A Customer calls him to get his order.
He tells Yuckie that he wants a runny Limburger cheese sandwich. He goes to the kitchen where he gets the cheese, however when he tries to open it, the cheese barks at him. He uses a mask in order the get the cheese. The cheese breaks free and Yuckie starts to chase it until he finally catches it by stabbing and killing it. He sends the customer his order. However, when the customer tries to eat the sandwich, the foul smell keeps sending the man's hair upwards until Yuckie rips it. A rich and proper woman, named Dora, calls Yuckie. Dora tells Yuckie that she wants a juicy steak. After he gives Dora her steak, she tries to cut it but fails. Yuckie tries to slice it with many objects, such as a sword, chainsaw and other tools. After all that fails, Yuckie attempts to use TNT, as the rest of the tools didn't work on the steak in the slightest. This enrages Dora to the point of calling the manager and asking for duck soup. This caused Yuckie himself to be served as duck soup, ending the short by saying "Is this life?" in a moment of misery and insanity.
I'm On My Way
Yuckie appears in the episode where he tells the viewer that he's a paramedic. Yuckie sees a Hippo that's shown to be unconscious. When Yuckie's tools don't work in getting the Hippo lifted up and in the ambulance, Yuckie takes her belly button out to deflate her and hopefully get her inside, but this causes her to leave in disgust. Yuckie then gets a 911 call from a Lion, who shows him he has a tack stuck on his rear. The Lion tells him to pull it out nice and easily and threatens Yuckie that if he feels one bit of pain, then he'll tie him up in knots.
Yuckie tries to take the tack out easily, only for them both to fall out of the house. During the chaos of the fall, Yuckie accidentally takes out the Lion's tooth. Yuckie tells the Lion that he can stuff it under his pillow for money. This causes the Lion to get mad and tie Yuckie up (carrying out his previous threat). Yuckie then sees a Fish having a heart attack. Yuckie uses a defibrillator to help the Fish. However, it instead burnt the Fish. Yuckie apologizes to the Fish, though the Fish retaliates by shocking Yuckie as Yuckie did him (sending the duck flying up and hitting a streetlight). Yuckie later puts the Fish in the van after he fell on him. However, the Fish's bed slipped out of the van, causing Yuckie to run down a sloped road after him. The Fish breaks out of the bed and escapes, as he saw the ambulance van was rolling down the hill toward the two. Yuckie never noticed this happening behind him, causing the van to hit him.
Yuckie's stint as a paramedic ends with him requiring medical attention himself after the Fish runs. This causes Yuckie to start crying on his way to the hospital, as he doesn't have health insurance. It is unknown what happened to Yuckie afterwards.
