Yukio Murata is the main villain of the notorious 2010 crime-horror movie Cold Fish. He is mentally ill owner of a tropical fish store called Amazon Gold who moonlights as a serial killer. His motive for serial-killing is steamed from the fact that some people just seemingly annoys him.
He was played by Denden.
Biography[]
Murata's father abused him horribly since childhood. Eventually, he snapped and murdered his father and took over his cabin located in a remote area. He used the cabin to dispose the bodies of his victims. He eventually married a woman named Aiko who is equally sicko as him and they opened a successful tropical fish business named Amazon Gold.
History[]
After Nobuyuki Shamoto's daughter got into trouble, a man named Yukio managed to help the girl get released from trouble, for trying to rob a store. Yukio introduces himself, and requests Nobuyki, and his wife & daughter to go and visit his fish store, which they do. They get surprised how large the store is, and Nobuyuki Shamoto's daughter begins working for Yukio. They also meet Yukio's wife Aiko Murata, who helps Yukio in managing the store.
At a meeting, that Yukio organized, Nobuyuki was present. There, Nobuyuki meets Yukio's client, and colleague. Yukio and the client tried to negotiate for 10 million yens for a tropical fish. The client refused to spend his money to buy a supposed 10 million yens worth fish. However, Yukio gave the client a drink. The client drinks it and get poisoned. Yukio, Aiko and Nobuyuki by force, then go to their secret location, where they butcher up the clients dead body. They feed the out-door fishes with his remains, and burn his bones and scatter it in the river.
Eventually, the clients family ring Yukio requesting to know where the client was. They arranged a meeting tomorrow. At the meeting, Yukio, Aiko, the colleague and Nobuyuki lie that they lost track of the colleague, and that he was given 4.5 million yens. The clients family barely took the story, and began researching where the client went. Eventually, the colleague and Aiko begin having sexual intercourse, which escalates in the colleague having a heart attack and passing away. Yukio and Aiko then also kill the colleague's sidekick, by poisoning him.
Nobuyuki, Yukio and Aiko then do the same process of getting rid of the evidence. Nobuyuki then tells Yukio that he had sex with Yukio's wife, and that Yukio is a failure, for making his daughter and wife unhappy, and that he should have sex with Aiko. This escalates in Nobuyuki killing Yukio, and forcing Aiko to cut Yukio up. Eventually, Nobuyuki kills Aiko, and his wife too. Movie ends with Nobuyuki taking his own life.
