Yun, also referred as The Dark Youth, is a young Dark Jedi and a supporting antagonist turned anti-hero in the video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II.
Biography[]
Yun was the youngest and newest eddition to Jerec's cause. He was found and trained by Sariss who was Jerec's second in command. He joined Jerec in his quest of the Valley of the Jedi and eventually encountered a Jedi named Qu Rahn. During his interrogation, Rahn attempted to fight them all, and used the force to grab Yun's yellow lightsaber which he used to cut Maw in half and also beat Boc and Gorc. Later on he joined his masters Jerec and Sariss to the Planet Sulon in order to steal the map leading to the Valley of the Jedi from Katarn homestead. He was the first of the seven Dark Jedi to face Kyle Katarn at the Imperial Tower in the city of Berons Hed. Even though Yun initially gained the upper hand, he was bested and spared by Kyle Katarn an act which would start driving him away slowly from the Dark Side. He was also approached by the Force Ghost of the fallen Jedi Qu Rahn who tried to turn him to the Light. Yun along with Sariss and Boc later found Kyle Katarn on the planet Ruusan. When Sariss attempted to kill him Yun blocked her causing her to strike him. She asked him why he did it to which Yun replied that since Kyle was a Jedi he at least deserved a battle, before finally dying redeeming himself. Kyle then used Yun's yellow lightsaber to defeat Sariss and later Boc and Jerec.
Personality[]
Yun was an arrogant and impatient man wanting to impress his superiors but also honorable and fair as was displayed in both his encounters with Kyle Katarn. During their first encounter Kyle spared his life so Yun later saved Kyle's life when his Master was about to kill him.
