The cunning sorcerer knew that the power of Shatterspin was out of reach----But the power of the tragic, cursed Lycan King was not. Kane's magic conjured the Spectral Crown, and so long as it sat on the monster's brow, the Lycan King was theirs to control. It took the combined might of every single Wolf Clan Warrior to stop them. Zaiden Kane, also known as Mama Mawa in their disguised form is the main antagonist of the Ninjago: Shatterspin comic series.
History[]
Zaiden Kane was a sorcerer from an unknown realm. During a confrontation at the Shadow Dojo, they manipulated Lord Argus into thinking he could be a possible sixth member of the Forbidden Five by striking the Gong of Shattering, fully aware of Argus' inability to perform Shatterspin. Argus proceeded to strike the gong, resulting in a self-inflicted curse that affected both him and the realm of Wyldness. Following this transformation into the Lycan King, Zaiden skillfully used the power of the Spectral Crown to exert control over the newly formed Lycan King. Using it, Zaiden launched an assault on the Wolf Warriors, petrifying nearly all of them. Ultimately, however, their ambitions led to their expulsion from Wyldness. Kane later returned to the Wyldness and disguised themself, taking on the alias Mama Mawa.
