Biography[]
One day, the Kuu Tribe's latest sacrifice for Odo, a girl named Beru, escaped her captivity and fled to parts unknown. Zaki was tasked with retrieving her so that she may be properly sacrificed. With a group of five Kuu Warriors, Zaki set off to track her down and recapture her.
As Beru hid among Pogo's tribe, with her and Pogo eventually developing feelings for each other, Zaki and his warriors busted into the tribe's den and defeated all of the tribesmen. Afterwards, when one warrior brought the tribe's elder in, Zaki demanded to know Beru's location, but the elder was not aware of who Beru even was, since Pogo kept her existence a secret from the rest of the tribe. Soon, however, another Kuu Warrior managed to track down and capture Beru, bringing her to Zaki. However, right as Zaki and his warriors were about to leave, Pogo arrived into the scene, with Gori shoving him into one of Kuu Tribe's cars, that made him drive all across the den and scatter the Kuu Tribe's warriors. Afterwards, Pogo rescued Beru and gave fight to Zaki's warriors, and then Zaki himself, forcing them to flee, but not before Zaki swore revenge on Pogo.
Zaki's attack and the reveal of Beru's existence, as well as Pogo defending her, led to the elder banishing Pogo, Gori, and Beru from the tribe, forcing them to live as outcasts. While Pogo and his friends were surviving outside, Zaki and his warriors decided to set an ambush on them. As Pogo, Gori, and Beru arrived at their camp, they decided to rest there, with Zaki and his warriors kidnapping Beru while the group slept. Pogo tried to rescue her, but Zaki stopped him, trying to make him pay for beating him earlier. Despite this second attempt, Pogo defeated him again, although Zaki ran away using the same secret entrance that he and his warriors used before. As Pogo and Gori uncovered the secret entrance, Zaki set a trap for the two, with Pogo and Gori falling for it and being sent plummeting down the cave's lower levels, as the Kuu tribesmen came back to their den to sacrifice Beru. However, Pogo and Gori break free from their trap and fight their way through Kuu Tribe's den.
Meanwhile, Zaki and the rest of Kuu Tribe has already set Beru up as a sacrifice and began to pray for Odo to accept her. Before the sacrifice could begin, however, Pogo and Gori had arrived, ready to rescue Beru. The Kuu Chief ordered Zaki to deal with Pogo, and the two rivals fought again. However, their battle was interrupted by the sudden arrival of Odo. As Pogo untangled Beru from her ropes, Odo's footsteps caused quakes that destroyed the platform the group stood on, sending all five of them plummeting down.
Pogo, Gori, Beru, Zaki, and the Kuu Chief ended up at the bottom of the chasm, where they were cornered by Odo. The moment Zaki helped him get on feet, the Kuu Chief immediately ran up to his "god", begging for its help, only to be devoured in response. Realizing that they have nowhere to run, Pogo, Gori, and Beru decided to challenge the dinosaur. Zaki, while still briefly distraught by the death of his chief, decided to team up with Pogo and his group and assist them in defeating the beast. Ultimately, the four emerged victorious and succeeded in slaying Odo.
With the source of conflict between the two tribes gone, Zaki buried the hatchet with Pogo and his friends. Crowned as the new chieftain of the Kuu Tribe, he made peace between two tribes, leading the united tribes with the elder of Pogo's tribe.
