Zamorak is the god of chaos and the overarching antagonist in Runescape. He is known to be the archenemy of Saradomin. He was a general of Zaros before he decided to overthrow his master.
Biography[]
Prior to becoming a god, he was a member of the Mahjarrat. Incidentally, some of his followers also happen to be Mahjarrat.
Though he is thought to be a god of evil by Saradominists (in part due to his betrayal of his god Zaros, which was what resulted to his ascension to godhood in the first place), he, in fact, has a complex personality. He would eventually make a truce with Zaros, so they no longer are necessarily enemies. However, he is still enemies with Armadyl, Saradomin, and Seren.
After Guthix was slain by Sliske, he was allowed to return to Gielinor.
He was the loser of the Battle Of Lumbridge and was forced to retreat from Saradomin. He later attempted to steal the Stone of Jas from Sliske. The reason he betrayed Zaros was that he believed that he was a tyrant. He also has animosity for Seren due to her wiping out thousands of her people (though Seren only did so to prevent Freneskae from being destroyed by Mah)
He was one of the participants in Sliske's Endgame. Bandos did not participate as he was slain by Armadyl. However, he had the lowest chance of winning out of all the gods due to his loss at the Battle of Lumbridge.
Zamorak was later fought by the player during Twilight of the Gods. The player reestablished the edicts, thus banishing Zamorak from Gielinor once again.
