Zampa is an android soldier serving as a member of the Evil Four Deva Kings and a supporting antagonist in Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion.
He is portrayed by Daikaku Sekine.
Biography[]
Zampa was once a general of the Machine Empire who led hunts of animals all across the universe. Juspion's parents, Gary and Anna, attempted to stop him from hunting the animals but Zampa refused to halt his hunts. This led to Gary messaging the galaxy federation for assistance, who chose to wipe out the Machine Empire to stop their poaching. Because of this, Zampa blamed Gary and Anna for his civilization's destruction and sought to avenge his people by killing them.
As the couple traveled to Earth with their infant son Juspion, Zampa attacked their starship and caused it to crash near the ocean. Gary and Anna both perished but Juspion miraculously survived and was taken into deep space by the galactic prophet Ejin.
At some point, Zampa joined the team of mercenaries known as the Evil Four Deva Kings. He would later find himself facing Juspion after the Four Deva Kings were hired by Mad Gallant to assist the Megabeast Empire in their hunt for the Golden Bird.
The Four Deva Kings assisted Mad Gallant in tracking down Kenichiro Nanbara, a photographer who had taken a photo of the legendary Golden Bird. Mad Gallant initially tried to bribe Nanbara into telling them where the bird was, but after he found out their true intentions, Mad Gallant had the Four Deva Kings kidnap him and his children. After Juspion freed Nanbara's children, Ikki offered to face Juspion himself and fought him in a one-on-one battle, falling to Juspion's Cosmic Halley attack.
Zampa would later plot to eliminate Juspion by having his troops set up a series of traps. To lure Juspion into them, he sent Juspion a series of photos taken of his parents. Once Juspion followed the photos into a building, Zampa ordered his men to fire on it and destroy Juspion. Juspion managed to survive by creating a barrier with his energy, but was left drained and injured. He later found the spirits of his parents, who healed him and explained Zampa's grudge against them. With his power restored, Juspion went to face Zampa in battle. Juspion managed to knock Zampa down and reveal his true machine form, but Zampa soon got back up and charged towards Juspion. Though Juspion shot off his right arm, this did little to slow down Zampa who soon overpowered him. After realizing that Zampa's weak spot was his eyes however, Juspion fired at them and destroyed Zampa, avenging his parents. Fatally wounded, Zampa proclaimed that he would become the emperor of the Machine Empire before exploding.
