While the Gokaigers first assumed the culprit was Shitari and his Gedoushu forces, Gai discovers it is Zan-KT0 while guarding the temple. After Shitari's death, the Gokaigers return to realize they destroyed the wrong villian. They used the Timeranger Keys before combining the Gokai Legendary Dream and the Gokai Galleon Buster's Rising Strike to defeat the evil robot.
He was enlarged by Metal Alice through Bibi Nails who was amazed by the Gokaigers and wished to learn more about them but GokaiSilver scrapped him with GoZyuJin's GoZyu Triple Drill Dream, using the "time's up" catchphrase of the Timerangers. His destruction led to the upgrades used in the latter creation of his more powerful successor, Zan-KT of the Shield.
Zan-KT of the Shield[]
Zan-KT is the first Matroid used by the Matrintis Empire. He was sent to capture humans in order to help Robogog and Metal Alice reestablish the Matrintis Empire, while able to fight the Goseigers due to the data he got on them from their battles with Warstar and Yuumajuu. With his powerful defensive abilities, Zan-KT does well until the Goseiger use their emotions that allow for them to fight against any threats and win. Using their Super Goseiger forms, they overcome Zan-KT and defeat him with the Super Gosei Dynamic. However while the Matrintis forces reveal their usage of the modified BB Nails to grow their creation, the Goseiger make quick work of it with Gosei Ultimate's Ultimate Strike after it blasted him down with its cannons despite him having chained it up.

After being built, Zan-KT2 of the Shoot uses the battle data from his predecessor's fight with the Goseigers to have an advantage. Despite the defeat of the original Zan-KT, Robogog and Metal Alice were immensely impressed by the fight he put up against the Goseigers. As a result, they then rebuilt a newer, more powerful model with his defense increased by 140% and his offense increased by 160% with the battle data. Using the upgraded Zan-KT, the new Matroid easily crushes the Goseiger in combat on his first try, forcing the team to desperately try to stop the Matroid even if it meant holding him down with their own bodies to try and slow him down.
However, Goseigers were still losing the battle, until their close friend and ally Gosei Knight intervened and together the Rangers defeated the Matroid. Gosei Knight finally decided to side with the Goseiger seeing their mission as the same as his own. With his assistance, the Goseiger use a Super Knight Gosei Dynamic to destroy the upgraded Zan-KT2 only for Metal Alice to make him grow. However, they summoned a combination of Gosei Ultimate and Gosei Ground, using the former's Ultimate Strike to defeat the Matroid once and for all.
