Zaret is a minor antagonist in the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia series, appearing as the main antagonist of the manga series The High Republic: The Edge of Balance.
Zaret was a Cloud in the Nihil, a faction of marauders active mostly in the Outer Rim Territories during the High Republic Era. On order of the Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro, Zaret went undercover in a farming settlement on the planet Banchii which was of importance to the Eye for reasons unknown. He later facilitated a Nihil attack on Banchii and personally slew Jedi Padawan Keerin Fionn.
