In the distant galaxy of alpha centauri, on the planet guk, a spoiled Prince named Zegar owned Zelda as an android slave. Not content with her sub-standard performance, he upgraded her, while her intellect was improved her safety inhibitions where not properly ingrained, allowing her to think freely and develop desires of her own. At this time, her sister Cy-star was also being manufactured by Guk scientists. As Prince Zagar became increasingly unreasonable in his demands and Zelda's cognetive thought and reasoning prowess increased, her resentment towards her master finally motivated her to kill her master and seek the reigns to his empire, claiming the planet for herself. Her indomitable fuel for power drove her to conquer several other worlds, recruiting oppressed and enslaved androids and monsters to join her in her campaign. Arriving to mars, she encountered human colonies and massacred them, proceeding to set her sights on earth.

Zelda is the main antagonist of Gerry Anderson's 1980s television series Terrahawks. She is the queen of the planet Guk, invaded Mars and has plans to conquer the earth as well as find the location of Hawknest, the top secret base of the Terrahawks organisation and destroy it. But in each episode of the series, her plans are foiled by Dr Ninestein and the rest of the Terrahawks. Her family include her son Yung-Star, her sister Cy-Star and her grandson/granddaughter It-Star.

She remains infamous among fans of the show as being very scary and nightmare-inducing for them back when Terrahawks first aired in 1983. And any old and unpopular women in the public eye is always at risk of being compared to Zelda. Her voice was provided by Denise Bryer who also voiced Commander Makara in Star Fleet X Bomber.

Life history

In the distant galaxy of alpha centauri, on the planet guk, a spoiled Prince named Zegar owned Zelda as an android slave, who was modelled on the ancient wise women on that planet.

Appearances

Zelda appears in every single episode of the Terrahawks TV series with the exception of Cry UFO.

Personality

Zelda has her sight set on the planet earth, and intends to gain control of it. She plans to exterminate all the humans(earth scum, as she calls them) as she believes the galaxy will do better without them. Her hatred of them stems from the fact they use robots to work for them, and being a robot herself, seeks to liberate robots across the galaxy. She also berates and insults her son, yung-star, though given his stupidity, this may well be warranted. She also arrogantly claims to be ruler of the universe despite many planets eluding her tyrannical grasp. She also takes good care of her pet monsters(better than she does her own son), but treats other apprentices like slaves, such as moid.(who is implied to be under mind control to an certain degee.)
