Zeldris is the second son of the Demon King, the younger brother of Meliodas and the secondary antagonist of the anime and manga series The Seven Deadly Sins. He serves as the leader of the group called the Ten Commandments.
History
Zeldris was born into the demon clan as the second son of the Demon King and the younger brother of Meliodas.
He grew up as a proud warrior alongside his brother for the demon clan and at one point fell in love with a vampire woman named Gelda.
However he was order to kill all the vampires for breaking their tready with the Demon clan under his father but could not bring himself to kill his lover Gelda so he sealed her away. He also heard that his older brother Meliodas betrayed their clan and had become the new leader of the Ten Commandments.
He later was sealed alongside the rest of the demon clan until Fraudian managed to release him and the rest of the Ten Commandments. Together with Zeldrias as their leader they went on to hunt down Meliodas for his betrayal and to take over the kingdom to revive the demon clan.
Powers and Abilities
As the second son of the Demon King, younger brother of Meliodas and student of the highest-ranked Demon Cusack as well as the current leader of the Ten Commandments, Zeldris is an immensely powerful demon and wields immense physical capabilities and outstanding fighting skills, particularly with the sword, known for having the fastest sword skill speed, apart from certainly Meliodas and the Demon King. He is known to be so powerful that even his mentor and the other highest-ranking demon Chandler fears his full power and he is also much stronger than all members of the Ten Commandments, safe Estarossa, who was known to be as powerful as, if not, even more powerful than he is, with Diane noting his power is beyond the other Commandments. Although he is not nearly as powerful as his older brother at his full power, as shown by how he was trounced effortlessly by Assault Mode Meliodas even alongside Estarossa, he is shown to be able to go toe-to-toe with and even dominate Meliodas when he was weakened, managing to not only dodge but also slice his brother's arm off when he attacked him in an Iado like manner and easily survive being kicked aside by Meliodas without any damage, and swiftly trounce the Giant King Drole with a single kick that rendered him unable to move anymore. He even managed to effortlessly decimate the forces of the second strongest kingdom in Brittania Camelot without sustaining any injuries. He could also fight almost evenly with the leader of the Four Archangels Ludociel in swordplay, slashing his woman vessel's face and only getting one more injury in the shoulder. His durability allows him to easily take a powerful attack from Ludociel with only minor wounds and at one point, he withstood a powerful attack from Escanor without going into a coma like Estarossa did.
Due to wielding the magic power of the Demon King, Zeldris has been granted several unique but highly potent powers. He is capable of using Admonition to take away the Commandments of others if they wishes it, telepathically communicating with other members of the Ten Commandments even all the way from Brittania, suppressing the magic power of someone as powerful as Drole and also casting a curse capable of nullifying the demonic magic resistance of Merlin and nearly killing her, which was so powerful that not only could Hendrickson, despite having years of study in druid magic, do nothing, even the power of other Goddesses are considered useless and only Elizabeth could heal it. He is the only demon apart from Meliodas capable of surviving taking in other Commandments and like him, can enlarge his demon mark. He also has the classic Hellblaze enchantment.
Zeldris, like his older brother, possesses his own magic power and not just that of his father and he is capable of combining it with God to ascend his power to the fullest.
