Zenet Surrow is a major antagonist turned supporting protagonist in Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders. She is the Hoas Brawler of the minor members of the Twelve Orders sent to take over Bakugan interspace and uses the Bakugan Contestir.

She was voiced by Yuka Saito in Japanese and Barbara Mamabolo in English.

Personality

As the youngest in her group, Zenet is said to be the trouble maker of the Gundalian agents. She loves to insult her foes, and has a xenophobic streak against the Neathians. She also dislikes traitors, and has a somewhat pessimistic view on life. For more positive traits, Zenet has a crush on Ren Krawler, although he does not know this fact. Zenet is also best friends with Lena and considers her teammates her true friends.

Zenet hates being mistreated by others (especially Barodius) and prefers to be treated fairly as she disapproves of Barodius' tyrannical rule over the Gundalians and the way he treats everyone around him. Zenet is loyal to those who show her friendship and kindness and will not side with those who abuse her.

Biography

Zenet first appears watching Sid Arkale defeat random children and their Bakugan. When the heroes call them out for this, she decides to battle them, despite Sid warning her about Drago's power. The two fight Dan and Ren, with Zenet easily defeating Ren and his bakugan Linehalt. Despite this, Drago tries to fight back against Rubanoid and Contestior but ultimately fails in doing so.

After Ren is exposed as a Gundalian agent, Zenet teases him by saying its adorable how he still cares for the heroes, in which Ren says he is the boss. She later appears kidnapping kids with the Gundalian agents and fleeing when the heroes arrive to stop them.

She and Lena Isis are later shown confronting Fabia, when she tells children their weakness when it comes to sneak attacks. After seeing a clone of Marucho, the two girls battle Faiba and the clone. Avatar Marucho is shown to use Aranaut, which confuses Zenet and makes Lena relaize the second Aranaut is a clone. They beat Aftar Marucho, causing him to fade away before Phosphos and Contister take down Aranaunt. Zenet decides to bring Fabia to Gundala, but the princess flips her before she can attack her.

After Ren and Sid get in trouble with the Twelve Orders for losing Neo. Zenet decided to get the element back. She disguised herself as Julie Makimoto to try and steal Drago, asking Dan to give it to her. This plan failed, however, when the real Julie appeared. Revealing herself, Zenent fought Dan for first time on Earth outside of Bakugan Interspace, where she lost the battle. Her team is later chewed up by the Twelve Orders for failing to get the brawlers on their side.

After Ren finishes talking to Barodius, she begs Ren to have Barodius spare her life, only for Ren to refuse. While hearing Gill is about to leave to destroy the second shield with Ren, she takes his appearance and joins Gill, much to Ren's anger. Gill ordered her to stall while he studied the second shield. Shun comes down to fight Contenster and beats him, causing Gill and Krakix to join the battle. Shun used ninja-like moves to outsmart Zenet and Gill, and with Dan's help, he beats the Gundalians. After the brawl, Gill had Zenet disguise herself as Nurzak so she could spy on Kazarina. After gaining insight into Kazarina and Nurzak's plan, she reported back to Gill, only for him to dispose of her. As she is being disposed of, she explains to Contestir that Gundalians care nothing for loyalty. Contestir argues that he has always been loyal to Zenet, who begins crying and apologizes for not seeing it earlier.

In Kazarina's lab she was revealed to be alive, along with Sid, Jesse, and Zenet, trapped in Kazarina's laboratory. However, only Sid escaped.
