Zenon is a major antagonist in the video game Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories.
She was voiced by Yukari Tamura in Japanese and Wendee Lee in English.
Biography[]
Past[]
Zenon was known as the God of all Overlords who was far stronger than any other Demon in existence to the point of being able to slaughter one thousand Overlords and ninety-nine Demon Lords in just one night.
Growing tired of the continual slaughter that she partakes in, Zenon chooses to reincarnate in order to escape from the eternal violence. This child would be Rozalin, a Demon who Zenon was sealed inside and was raised by the one Demon Lord Zenon spared who decided to take the name Zenon for himself and raise Rozalin so he could subject her to a life of adoring him and doing nothing.
Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories[]
During the fight with Laharl, the seal that held Zenon was broken by him, unleashing Zenon who proceeds to beat Laharl easily, forcing him to retreat. When everyone congratulates Rozalin for winning the fight, she turns to her friends and attacks them. She is only calmed down and forced back to becoming Rozalin.
At the end of the game, Rozalin breaks her seal to unleash Zenon in order to beat the fake Overlord Zenon, easily killing him after dismissing his speech. Zenon then turns to fight her friends, however, Adell snaps Zenon out of it again, telling Rozalin that she isn't alone before kissing her.
Bad Ending[]
In the Bad Ending, Adell is unable to get Zenon to listen to reason, forcing him to fight and kill her, killing Rozalin in the process.
While Adell is grieving over the death of Rozalin, Zenon's spirit possesses Adell before killing Tink, Taro and Hanako before eating their bodies.
