Zerona is a villain in Matt Hatter Chronicles. She is an ice witch who works for Lord Tenoroc.

Season 4[]
Desert of Ice[]
Zerona is in Discordia and sees the sole plant there. She turns the plant to ice along with the rest of Discordia and contacts Lord Tenoroc to tell him that the job is done. However, Tenoroc is not so sure and tells Zerona that he wants all life found in Discordia eliminated. Craw says that the look that she is giving Tenoroc could freeze an entire realm, whereupon Tenoroc asks Zerona if that feat is within her powers. Zerona says yes and is given the task of plunging the Multiverse into an ice age.
Zerona goes to the Sea of Sands but freezes only the Pit of Pirates. Matt, Roxanna, and Gomez see a Sand Surfer and go to investigate. However, one of Zerona's Frost Biters sees the trio and informs its mistress, who then spots Matt through her boomerang. Zerona pops the Frost Biter and riles the rest up to begin their conquest.
Matt, Roxanna, and Gomez look at the Sand Surfer and find out that it has been customized for ice use. Gomez reveals to Matt and Roxanna that the culprit for this is Zerona, who Matt remembers from a movie that he watched. Suddenly, Zerona arrives and sends her Frost Biters to freeze Matt, Roxanna, and Gomez. Matt and Roxanna manage to fight off the Frost Biters, but one bites Gomez in his left leg, freezing it. He is then attacked by the Frost Biter, but Roxanna kills it, and Matt then thaws Gomez's leg. Matt tells Gomez to go with Priscilla to Alhabar and warn the inhabitants of Zerona's arrival. He and Roxanna go after Zerona, while Matt tells Gomez to get some salt.
Zerona is standing on Scimitar Rock and uses her boomerang to make more snow. The snow sends Matt and Roxanna careening into some rocks. Zerona then attacks Roxanna, which prompts Matt to confront the ice witch, but Zerona freezes his Cell Blaster when he tries to blaster her with it. However, she refuses to fight Matt (declaring fighting to be beneath her) and heads to Alhabar to continue her conquest.
Matt and Roxanna follow Zerona on makeshift snowboards and head to Alhabar. They meet Gomez and a shopkeeper, whereupon Matt warns them of Zerona's arrival and asks about the salt. When the shopkeeper says that the salt is their entire stock, Matt says to bring the salt and has Gomez go on the lookout. Matt then spreads the salt around Alhabar, whereupon Gomez says that Zerona is coming.
In preparation for Zerona's arrival, Alhabar is quickly boarded up. Zerona manages to stop before he reaches the salt, but her snowboard (which is made out of ice) is melted. Undaunted, Zerona sends more Frost Biters into Alhabar. Matt, Roxanna, Gomez, and the inhabitants manage to fight them off, but Zerona then throws her boomerang at the door. The door freezes, and a hole is put in it when she pulls her boomerang back. Matt asks if Gomez still has the Navi-Cube, and upon getting it, teleports out instantly.
Zerona gets onto the roof of a building, but Roxanna follows and attacks her. Unfortunately, Zerona gains the upper hand and prepares to freeze Alhabar. Fortunately, Matt teleports back with the Navi-Cube and gives a lava ball to Gomez. Under Matt's instruction, Roxanna launches a bag of salt above Zerona, and Matt quickly blasts it. This causes salt to fall on Zerona, and while she's distracted, Matt has Gomez throw the lava ball at her. Zerona catches it, only to go hologram and be captured by Matt.

Zerona appears in a flashback during Matt's anniversary.
Powers and Abilities[]
Zerona has the power of ice and the ability to freeze landscapes. It is also stated that her look could freeze an entire realm.
Weaknesses[]
Like most other ice elementals, Zerona is weak to fire and salt.
Trivia[]
- Zerona is the only female villain to be introduced after Season 2. She is also the only Season 4 villain to make a return appearance (albeit only as a cameo).
