Zeth is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Fedder) of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores. He is a former squad member of the Quen Navy, where he and the rest of the Quen stranded in Burning Shores have been brainwashed by Walter Londra by giving him the false promise of "the Ascension". He becomes the fanatical right-hand man of Walter and the enforcer of the Devotees.
He was portrayed in motion-capture by Dylan Saunders.
Personality[]
Even before he was subjected to brainwashing by Londra, Zeth had a reputation among his shipmates for having an irascible temper, which would only get worse after he was exposed to MSP. Following his brainwashing, he developed a fervent devotion to Londra.
History[]
Zeth was one of the Quen chosen for the Eastern Expedition to San Francisco, but he and half of the fleet were lost at sea at the Burning Shores. He and his soldiers were among those dispatched to scout the coast, but they never returned.
Walter Londra discovered them and used MSP to brainwash them into serving him in exchange for promises of "the Ascension." Zeth was appointed to serve as Walter's right hand and was in charge of keeping an eye on the other Quen while Starlight Rise was being excavated. He and his team were also entrusted with bringing the dedicated from Heaven's Rest to Pangea Park, where they would either be indoctrinated with MSP or put through an audition to join Walter's retinue. He was given a Specter Gauntlet as his main weapon.
When Zeth learnt of Aloy and Seyka's intrusion and deception into Heaven's Rest some time later, he was thrown into a rage and confronted them at the Ascension Hall. Zeth was fatally wounded by both Aloy and Seyka and his unit was destroyed following the battle. He disclosed with his last breath where the devotees were taken and that the group he had kidnapped was the last one.
