Zhang Anna (张安娜 in Chinese) is the main antagonist of Emerald Hill - The Little Nyonya Story. She is known to be deceitful and tried every way to get Huang Xinniang out of the family. She is the daughter of antagonists Zhang Jinquan and Kang Sili, the niece of Kang Zhijie, and the younger sister of Zhang Yaoliang and Zhang Yaoguang. Whilst she may look pretty and cute, she is deceptive and cunning and loves to wreck havoc to the family and anyone who she comes to contact with.
She is portrayed by Chantelle Ng as her first villainous role.

It is unknown why Zhang Anna lives a life full of hatred and disdain towards others. However, the most likely reason was that Zhang Anna was not allowed to live in with the Zhang family when she was young, being a female, until the age of 10. She is known to be Westernised, preferring to speak English especially when she was still a child.
Whilst she may appear demure and cute at first, she is deceptive. This is noted on the kebaya that she wears in the series, as the main colour of her dress is pink, resembling cuteness and the rabbits decorated on her blouse not only it could resemble beauty and elegance from the Chinese culture, but also arrogance from the Western culture, similar to The Hare from The Tortoise and the Hare. The rabbits could also symbolise with the common English phrase "going down the rabbit hole".
Emerald Hill - The Little Nyonya Story[]
Zhang Anna was first introduced as a child wearing a western dress. She hated being a Nyonya, mentioning that she will not be able to go to school and is mostly influenced by her parents. After hearing her mother's jealousy towards Li Shuqin, she decided to pour a ladle of oil on the staircase of the Zhang family's home. A pregnant Shuqin walked down the staircase and fell, suffering a miscarriage.
The grown up Anna a few episodes later was even more evil. She tries to help her parents gain more leverage and reputation in the Zhang family while also having a strong hatred towards the protagonist Zhang Xinniang, who not only wanted her out of the family due to her unknown origins but was also jealous of her attracting Huang Zuye, who Anna has a crush on. When Zhang Anya returned to the Zhang family, Anna took the chance to approached her and make sure that there are animosities between Anya and Xinniang.
After the death of Jinhe, Anna instigated that there is a funeral being held by talking about joss papers during a phone call between Li Shuyu and Li Shuqin, who was at the Cameron Highlands. This prompted a pregnant Li Shuqin to rusch back to the family house in shock. This prompted an early delivery of her son. Zhang Anna fauxed call the hospital and asked for the family's personal chaffeur to drive the car out of the housing premises, delaying help for Li Shuqin. Li Shuqin died giving birth, and decided to name the boy Yaopeng. Anna kidnapped the boy and renamed him Yaohui instead.

Zhang Anna ended up being diagnosed with schizophrenia in the last episode whilst her parents passed away whilst abroad in Hong Kong.

- Chantelle Ng's real-life Mother, Lin Meijiao, portrayed the main antagonist of The Little Nyonya first series, Lin Guihua.
- Like Lin Guihua, Anna wanted to exile the main protagonist.
- She is comparable to Scar from The Lion King.
