Zhang Wei, also known as The Bow God, is a major antagonist in the fantasy and revenge light novel and manwha series, Second Life Ranker. He is introduced as a former mercenary that operates in Africa before he joined Cheonghwado as one of the five martial God's, however it is revealed that he is a actually hired by the Red Dragon Clan to infiltrate their clan as a spy and mercenary against the clan.
Appearance[]
He is described to be Asian stated by others as he is often wearing a hooded clothing not showing his face during his time in Cheonghwado.
Personality[]
He is well described to be quiet, with stoic demeanor, analytical, calm and intelligent with a type to be a schemer. He is well kept and only speak when he needs to in the meetings. Under the hood of his clam demeanor, he is amoral with no sense of loyalty to others but to himself during his time as a mercenary seen in the final stages of war between the clans of Cheonghwado and Red Dragon Clan where he later betrayed Sword and Spear God with no hesitation as he revealed that he joined under the orders of Red Dragon, Summer Queen. He has never developed a sentiment nor the slightest attachment and have no problem of betraying in the value offered by the Red Dragon clan.
He joined the Red dragon once again and is implied to show no loyalty towards the Summer Queen, leader of the Red Dragons despite he agreed to request behind the death of Bahal aligning his current desires. Later, he revealed that he posses adrenaline seeking tendencies and desires of fighting against stronger opponents as it is seen with his encounter with Cha Yeon Woo when he quickly observed to his fixation of apathetic and cold blooded personality of killing others combining his immense strength even before he entered the tower. He killed his own sister for dating Cha Yeon Woo showing a pleasure of avenging to kill him.
History[]
He and Cha Yeon Woo were part of the same military squad when they were sent to Africa as he first met yeon woo as he is placed as a squad leader for his unit in multinational military exercise. He is ultimately responsible for leaving Yeon woo in the middle of the war in pretext of following orders as he killed his sister to avoid elicit emotion towards his anger on Yeon woo.
However, Yeon woo abandoned him in the desert with no supplies or help, as he attempted to plead Yeon woo not to leave him die showing a cartage of the date that killed his sister.
In the later series, he was invited by the Red Dragon to infiltrate and join Cheonghwado to spy on their internal activities while he works his way up in the ranks. He later became border as he take both orders between the leaders of Cheonghwado and Red Dragon separately while taking orders in robotic way finding it boring until this changed upon the rise of power of Arthia and Cha Jeong-woo.
Abilities[]
In the battle, he possess immense power and strength given by the towers heirarchy, capable of holding against the ground towards Summer Queen. He showed to be superior than his lower ranks as he easily overpowered Yanu from One Horned Tribe, despite having two people as high rankers.
His Strengths were proven formidable by the leader of Red Dragon itself and offers him to become one of the 81 eyes however he refused despite his immense power can give a turning point for the queen itself however she is weak due to her hearts condition.
- The Four Directions Archery: Given by him as an apostle to Hou Yi, allowing him to shoot multiple arrows creating powerful explosions that resembles bombardment attacks. It also gives fires and arrows within it.
- Stealth Stalking: This power granted by his teacher, helps him use it on stealth to sneak up against the Nine Kings.
