Zhe Yun Wong also known as "Mr. Wong", is an antagonist in the 2011 videogame Mafia II. He serves as the primary antagonist in Chapter 13, Exit The Dragon.

He was voiced by James Sie, who also played Eddy Raja in Uncharted franchise.

Biography

Born in 1903, a young Zhe Yun Wong came to America in slave labor on a ship carrying opium. He fled the dock at Cape Peak and headed east, to Empire Bay. Broke and knowing no English, he was forced to work for the Triads. He rose through the ranks slowly, and came to protect smokers from opium. Finally, he established his own smuggling operations. It is said that he once killed his cousin for a shipment of heroin, a fact which demonstrated his loyalty and earned him the position which he holds.

In Chapter 12, Sea Gift, Henry Tomasino established a business deal with the Empire Bay Triads and wanted Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro to join him. They met Mr. Wong who was suspicious of the Italian Mafia at first. They eventually came to an agreement. They borrowed $50,000 from a loan shark named Bruno Levine.

Betrayal

Unfortunately, in Chapter 13, Exit The Dragon, Mr. Wong and his men discovered that Henry was a government informer. They butchered him with meat cleavers at Lincoln Park and taking all of his money. Unfortunately for them, Vito and Joe arrived, witnessing Henry's death. They killed some Chinese gangsters and approached Henry's corpse. Outraged, Joe insisted that Vito and himself search for answers. Vito noticed Mr.Wong driving away in a car, and quickly deduced that he was probably responsible. They followed Mr. Wong's car to a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. They stormed the restaurant an fought their way through the Triad enforcer's guards, eventually reaching Mr. Wong's office.

Joe then put a gun to Mr. Wong's head, and Wong asked what they wanted. After pistol-whipping the Triad enforcer, Joe and Vito demanded to know the motive behind Henry's death. Wong explained that his contact in the federal bureau of narcotics told him that Henry gave them information about their deal. Joe however, did not believe him, and Vito wasn't convinced either. Wong then explained that the Triads had problems with the Italian Mafia from the very beginning. Vito then demanded to know the whereabouts of the money that Wong's men took from Henry, and Wong says it's not here anymore. Joe threatens to execute Wong if he does not reveal where it is now, but Wong refuses to comply, saying that if he told him, he would be dead anyway. An infuriated Joe then shoots him in his left temple, killing him. Vito didn't like that, claiming Mr. Wong could've had more information. Joe disagreed, saying that the Triads are a tough, nasty bunch. Then they left Chinatown.

His death leads the Triads to blame the Mafia families, sparking a war, and causes increased attention on all involved from federal authorities.
