Zombies are the main antagonists of the episode Epidemiology in the sitcom Community. They were the Greendale students who were infected by mysterious military food.
History[]
Dean Pelton purchased discount military food for the Halloween Party. Pierce Hawthorne was the first one to become sick. Rich, who was a doctor, examined him. Pierce bit Starburns' arm, infecting him. Leonard ended up biting a student, causing a mass panic and leading to most of the students being infected and turned into zombies.
The Dean called the military, who realized what was happening and told him to quarantine the students for six hours. The Dean locked everyone in the building. The Study Group made their way to the study room. There, Rich informed them that every zombie would die of a fever in three hours. Rich and Britta were infected and turned into zombies and bit Annie.
Jeff, Abed, and Try escaped. Before they could get out, Jeff was bitten. They reached a window and Abed sacrificed himself to let Troy escape. once outside, Troy took the keys from the Dean and reentered the building. he was bit by Abed. Before being turned into a Zombie, he managed to lower the temperature in the building, preventing everyone from dying of a fever before the military arrived. When the military came, they cured everyone and erased their memories.
On Halloween the next year, the Dean bought the same meat, so it is possible another Zombie outbreak happened, with everyone getting their memories erased again.
