The Zombotany are the minor antagonists in the Plants vs. Zombies Franchise. They are Zombies with heads of the Plants and they are trying to eat the Player's brain just like the Zombies. They only appear in both "Zombotany 1" and "Zombotany 2" mini-games, they also appeared in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2.

Plants vs. Zombies[]
Zombotanies made their first debut in Plants vs. Zombies. They have 6 variants in the game
- Peashooter Zombies: they act like normal Zombies but shoots peas like Peashooters
- Wall-Nut Zombies: they act like normal Zombies except they have the same health as the Wall-Nut
- Gatling Pea Zombies: they Shoot 4 peas at the plants. Which deals a huge damage
- Tall-Nut Zombies: they are like Wall-Nut Zombies but they have a huge health
- Jalapeno Zombies: they can release fire in one lane and kills all your plants if they stay alive for so long.
- Squash Zombies: they will instantly kills your plants by jumping on them and they will die aswell.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 (Chinese Version)[]
Zombotanies have been appeared in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. They have only appeared in Penny's Pursuit levels. Gatling Pea Zombies and Jalapeno Zombies also made a return in the game. But there is 2 new variants in the game.
- Snow Pea Zombies: They are Zombies with Snow Pea's head. They shoot projectiles that can freeze your Plants
- Explode-O-Nut Zombies: They are like Wall-Nut Zombies. They have a high amounts of health and explodes when defeated. Dealing 3x3 area Damage.

- Snow-Pea Zombie and Explode-O-Nut Zombies are the only new Zombotanies that appeared in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies
- Gatling Pea Zombies and Jalapeno Zombies Returned in The Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2
- The Zombotanies have Ducky Tube variants. But Squash Zombies doesn't have one.
- The name "Zombotany" was an unused Dr. Zomboss boss fight soundtrack. Later it was used for the name of the minigame.
