The Zoner Companions were two prisoners who served General Zod as his personal bodyguards in the Phantom Zone in the CW TV series Smallville.

They served as secondary antagonists in the episode "Dominion" in the Tenth and final season.

They were portrayed by John DeSantis, who also played The Traveler in the same series, The Juggernaut in Thir13en Ghosts, the Bald Man in the TV series A Series of Unfortunate Events, Moonface in Incident On and Off a Mountain Road and voiced Ollie in Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus, and Aliyah O'Brien, who also played Afina in Sanctuary and Kim Balmain in Guilty Until Proven Innocent.

The nameless male Zoner was a criminal sentenced to the Phantom Zone for an unspecified crime. The female Zoner was named Kamira and was too sentenced for an unknown crime in the prison dimension. After the Kandorians sent him to the Phantom Zone, Zod's clone came face-to-face with his original self's phantom and the two merged into one entity.

Zod then made a deal with Darkseid; he would have dominion over the Zone and have his revenge in exchange for trapping Kal-El. Kamira and the male Zoner served Zod as his servants and were always by his side.

When Kal-El and Oliver Queen went into the Phantom Zone to investigate Slade Wilson's release, they were captured by the Zoner Companions and were taken to their leader; a hooded figure who sat on a throne with a large snake.

He stands and reveals himself to be Zod, and forced the two to kneel. The Zoner Companions take Oliver away while Zod and Clark speak.

After talking for sometime, the Zoners escort Clark to a gladiatorial arena where two men were fighting and Oliver was in a cage. He tells Clark that they want him to fight to the death. Zod watched from his throne above the pit where Kamira and the male Zoner stood by his side.

Zod has the Zoners bring Oliver to him to have a private meeting. He taunts him, saying that it must be hard working with someone who has the power of a god. Oliver countered that he should sent his minions away so they could have a proper banter. Zod then dismissed the Zoners who left their master.

Zod offered Oliver the choice to rule with him in exchange for killing Clark. Oliver was somewhat seduced by the idea and fought with him in an arena. Both were dressed in gladiatorial armor. Oliver brutally attacks Clark, who after hesitating, finally fights back.

He lunges at Oliver, who stabs him once more; as he prepares to deliver the final blow, Zod ordered him to stop. Zod steps down from his throne, welcomes Oliver as his brother-in-arms and draws his sword.

He tells Oliver that he, Zod, will be the one to kill Clark, as he raises his sword. Oliver stops him while Clark grabs the crystal from Zod and shoves him down. The Zoner Companions rush to their master's side.

This opens a portal back to Earth, where the shining yellow sun heals his wounds. Clark tells Zod that he has no more second chances. Clark enters the portal with Oliver and destroys the crystal, trapping Zod and his minions once and for all in a rotating pane of glass that spun in space.
