Zuhour is the main antagonist of of the 2023 comic book limited series Disney Villains: Scar.
She is the manipulative leader of a clan of hyenas in the Elephant Graveyard.
Biography[]
In Disney Villains: Scar #3, Zuhour summoned her clanmates so that she could cast the bones and identify which of them would be cannibalized by the others. After casting the bones, Zuhour declared that they had chosen Shenzi, but Shenzi resisted and fought off her hungry clanmates. Disappointed, Zuhour told Shenzi that she should willingly let her followers eat her instead of fighting back, but Shenzi protested.
The evil lion Scar stopped the hyenas by using his roar and walked towards Zuhour. He made a deal with her that he will bring the prey to Zuhour and her clan for food in exchange for their services. Zuhour agreed, and decided to give Banzai and Ed to Scar.
In Disney Villains: Scar #4, after Scar and Shenzi herded the bunch of wildebeests to the Elephant Graveyard while Banzai and Ed distracted King Mufasa, Zuhour was impressed that Scar and Shenzi fulfilled their mission. But then the treacherous Scar threw Zuhour to the wildebeest stampede, but the vengeful Zuhour survived and attempted to kill Scar and his three hyena minions with the help of her fellow hyenas. Before they attempted to do so, Scar summoned his vulture minions (including Kabeer and Krass) to attack and kill Zuhour and her followers.
