Ice Man is one of the six Robot Masters of the first Mega Man game.
He has been voiced by Terry Klassen in the Ruby Spears cartoon, Hekiru Shiina in Mega Man: ThePower Battle, Hiroko Konishi in Mega Man Battle & Chase, who was also the voice of one of his siblings, Yuriko Fuchizaki in Super Adventure Rockman, Zoe Slusar in Mega Man Powered Up's English dub and Akemi Kanda in the Japanese dub.
Ice Man is self-centered at certain times. He likes to show off in front of people. He still deeply care about his associates. As his name suggests, Ice Man loves anything that is related to snow. In contrast to snow, he dislikes the heat.

Background[]
Ice Man was originally built by Dr. Light to perform tasks in extreme climates. He was reprogrammed by Dr. Wily who was on a mission to take over the world. Ice Man aided five of Dr. Light's other robots who experienced the same fate.
Battle[]
Ice Man's signature weapon is the Ice Slash. It is a sharp blade of ice that can freeze anything. He shoots three pieces of them while jumping around the arena. Mega Man must time his jumps carefully so as to avoid the attack. Ice Man's weakness is the Thunder Beam.
Mega Man 3[]
Ice Man appears in the ending sequence of the game alongside all of the other LightNumbers as Proto Man's theme plays.
Mega Man 8[]
He only appears in the intro.
Mega Man Battle & Chase[]
In Mega Man Battle & Chase, Ice Man appears as a playable character for the first time; he rides the Cool Mobile and it has the abilities to create ice pillars which could freeze other racers.
In the ending where the player plays as him, an ice sculpture of Roll and himself is shown, thus proving he shows kindness to her.

He makes a cameo appearance in the CD Database.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Ice Man appears as a novice support spirit that boosts resistance to lava floors. His spirit battle is against the Ice Climbers with super armor and increased water and ice attacks on an ice floored Battlefield form of the Summit stage.
